On April 9th, Canadian forces launched an attack on the German-held Vimy Ridge. The Battle of Vimy Ridge lasted for 3 days. It formed part of the much larger Battle of Arras. The Canadian War Museum commemorated the 100th anniversary of the successful assault on Vimy Ridge in 2017. The exhibits included a 1/300 scale reproduction of the battlefield, which is illustrated in the following photographs.
