Each year, Baccus co-hosts the Joy of Six Show in Sheffield. In 2016 the event coincided with the 100th Anniversay of the Battle of the Somme. We decided to reproduce the first day of the battle, which took place on July 1st, 1916. There were enough tables to replay the British and French sectors north of the Somme river up to Serre. This represented 15 miles of battlefront. It wasn’t possible to include the diversionary attack on Gommecourt.
