The Russian divisional command stand can be seen in the middle of the photo. An aide-de-camp is handing a pouch containing orders to the mounted messenger. The Russian general is seated at his desk, contemplating his next move on the map. Siberian Russian infantry (Irregular Miniatures) can be seen in the foreground, continuing to make their way forwards to the sound of the guns on the ridge line. A regiment of Russian fields guns can be seen just beyond the stream.
