Battle of Sari Bair

The Battle of Sari Bair occurred in early August 1915. The British and Dominion forces attempted to take the ridge overlooking Anzac Cove with a bold left hookingmanoeuvre. The attacks onLone Pine and TheNek, as well as the Suvla Bay landings, werelaunched in support of the assault on Chunuk Bair, Hill Q and Hill 971. Here are some Ottoman defenders. These are Baccus figures. Bottom left is a Jandarma battalion, dressed as Arab regulars. The other figures are standard Ottoman infantry:
