German reinforcements

Baccus 6mm German early war infantry companies are positioned in reserve behind the village of Bailly. The German regimental HQ is on the southern outskirts of the village, straining to hear and to see what is about to unfold.

The village buildings are 3mm scale from Paper Terrain. They have been stuck onto a 2mm thick 3 x 3 inch MDF base from Warbases. The village roads are sand glued down with PVA, painted black, and then dry-brushed with two shades of grey. Brown caulking compound was used to‘glue’ down the flock and the unpainted sand on the rest of the base.
