Welcome to the new Great War Spearhead (GWSH) website. It is devoted to the WW1 ruleset developed by Shawn Taylor.

In GWSH, an infantry stand represents a company. This allows gamers to experience the challenges of commanding whole divisions, even corps.

Version 2 is nearing publication. It includes all of the relevant rules in Spearhead, as well as new scenarios and TO&Es. The final draft has now been proof-read (December 2009). Corrections will be made and the final version completed. When published, GWSH II will be available to download in PDF format.

New Scenario Added

A new scenario has been uploaded. It is based on the Belgian cavalry division's attempt to cut the Louvain-Tirlemont railway in September 1914.
